There
are
roughly
2300
people
reported
missing
daily
in
the
United
States.
If
you
actually
take
the
time
to
look
up
the
numbers
on
missing
people
you
will
find
the
numbers
reported
are
all
over
the
place.
For
example,
just
here
in
the
State
of
Tennessee
we
have
found
information
that
suggests
Tennessee
has
roughly
400
people
come
up
missing
per
year
which
boils
down
to
an
average
of
1
person
reported
missing
every
day.
In
reality
that
doesn’t
add
up
because
Nashville,
Tennessee,
missing
person
numbers
come
in
at
around
600
to
700
people
per
year
all
by
itself.
Many
of
these
cases
are
solved
but
many
are
not.
Do
to
a
lack
of
man
power,
evidence
or
dead
ends
these
cases
end
up
being
what
is
called
a
cold
case
and
forgotten.
In
the meantime the families of the missing people are unable to obtain any type of closure.
In
2019
a
YouTube
Creator
helping
to
clean
up
the
environment
in
his
local
waters
by
removing
vehicles
accidentally
found
a
missing
person
in
one
of
those
vehicles.
This
mans
movement
has
led
to
a
world
wide
effort
by
others
and
we
hope
to
be
one
of
them.
In
an
effort
to
do
just
that we have created Lost And Found SAR to aid the families of the lost obtain closure.
Lost
And
Found
SAR
is
an
all
Volunteer
Weekend
Warrior
Search
And
Recovery
Team
that
uses
side
scan
sonar
technology
to
search
for
people
who
have
gone
missing
(along
with
their
vehicles).
Our
team
provides
this
service
free
of
charge
for
families
and
law
enforcement
using
an
all
weather
21’
search
vessel
equipped
with
state
of
the
art
sonar
equipment
and
an
advanced ROV drone.
At
this
point
and
time
we
are
limited
to
the
local
Knoxville,
Tennessee,
area
which
consists
of
the
Tennessee,
Holston,
French
Broad
and
Melton
Hill
Rivers.
Hopefully
soon,
with
the
help
of
others
joining
us
in
our
effort,
we
will
be
able
to
expand
our
horizons
and
add
to
the
geographical capabilities of our intended mission.
Due
to
many
of
the
environments
we
find
these
unconfirmed
vehicles
in
(such
as
surrounded
by
trees
and
debris)
our
tethered
ROV
is
only
capable
of
limited
missions.
Due
to
that
limitation
we
are
currently
in
need
of
Scuba
Divers.
Preferably
a
2
person
safety
conscious
team
who
are
experienced
in
dark
water
as
well
as
swift
current
environments
and
are
willing
to volunteer their services to identify and clear the many potential vehicles we have located.
Fortunately,
in
the
Greater
Knoxville
TN
area,
we
haven’t
had
many
recent
missing
people
who
have
gone
missing
along
with
their
vehicle,
that
we
are
aware
of,
with
the
exception
of
Regina
Dawn Robinson which we have spent several days combing the local waters for.
When
we
are
not
looking
for
a
specific
missing
person
we
randomly
scan
the
Tennessee
River
shore
lines
paying
particular
attention
to
obvious
areas
where
a
vehicle
could
easily
enter
the
water
such
as
boat
ramps
or
roads
that
run
along
side
of
or
end
at
the
waters
edge.
In
doing
so
we
have
observed
all
kinds
of
things
on
our
sonar
screens
lying
on
the
bottom
of
the
river.
Aside
from
the
many
potential
vehicles
(over
50)
we
have
encountered
we
have
also
seen
boats,
barges,
ladders,
barrels,
along
with
major
wreckage
we
can
not
define.
We
have
also
seen
some
very
unusual
geographical
formations
not
to
mention
some
very
alien
looking
anomalies you will just have to see for yourself to believe.
We
have
recently
launched
our
Lost
and
Found
SAR
YouTube
Channel.
Please
help
us
out
by
Viewing,
Commenting,
Liking
and
most
of
all
Subscribing
to
our
channel.
It’s
free
and
won’t
cost
you
a
thing.
In
doing
so,
Lord
willing,
it
will
help
us
raise
funds
for
some
of
the
many
expenses we encounter along the way.
On
our
YouTube
channel
you
will
see
videos
of
our
journeys
while
we
were
(and
still
are)
in
the
process
of
learning
our
newly
found
Mission
and
at
the
same
time
you
will
be
able
to
ride
along
with
us
and
see
what
we
have
seen
and
experienced.
As
you
scroll
along
viewing
the
sonar
images
you
may
come
across
items
we
may
have
missed.
If
you’re
one
of
those
people
that
can
pick
out
a
four
leaf
clover
you
might
be
good
at
this
too.
If
you
do
see
something
please
post
a
description
of
what
you
think
it
is
along
with
the
time
displayed
on
the
screen
in
the
comments
section
of
that
particular
video
so
other
people
can
see
it
to.
Hopefully
we
may
get
some
answers
of
what
these
items
may
or
may
not
be
from
people
viewing
and
commenting
on
them on the channel.
For
you
folks
that
are
interested
in
how
to
set
up
your
own
vessels
with
side
scan
sonar
units
you
can
follow
along
with
us
on
our
venture
and
see
how
we
set
up
our
Garmin
chart
plotters
and
see
how
we
use
them
in
real
world
scenarios.
We
are
by
no
means
experts
in
this
field,
we
may
have
some
good
ideas
and
methods
but
then
again
for
all
we
know
we
might
just
be
spinning
our
props
in
the
wrong
direction.
If
you
see
something
we
could
improve
on
please
don’t be shy and let us know.
Our
YouTube
Channel
will
also
contain
videos
of
our
experiences
outfitting
our
vessel
as
well
as
unfiltered
reviews
of
our
equipment.
Basically
a
behind
the
scenes
look
of
all
the
items
involved
in
making
everything
happen
to
be
able
to
provide
this
service.
Our
hope
is
that
by
adding
this
type
of
content
to
our
channel
it
will
help
us
gain
more
views
thus
generating
more
funds
to
help
us
in
our
mission.
Our
unfiltered
equipment
reviews
will
help
people
that
are
on
the same course make decisions on their equipment purchases.
If
your
a
Law
enforcement
or
a
Search
and
Rescue
agency
feel
free
to
call
on
us
to
provide
you
with an up close and personnel real time hands on experience with our equipment.
